Tana River Governor Godhana Dhadho is still in custody at Kamukunji police station . The governor was arrested alongside Galole Constituency Member of Parliament Hiribae Said Buya.They were arrested in connection with the ongoing inter-clan clashes in Tana River County that have so far claimed 18 lives, with scores injured and tens of families displaced. The arrest came after the government on Friday evening declared 12 locations in the area as dangerous and disturbed and ordered inhabitants to surrender firearms to the police for safe custody.
