The prolonged drought across northern Kenya has hit the region hard on two fronts. Communities living there have not only lost their livestock and livelihoods, to the biting drought, but for thousands learners, it has also dashed the hopes of their dreams of getting an education. And for girls the situation is more dire, with some as young as 10 years old being sold off in exchange of livestock. Mary Muoki visited Wajir county and has more on this Story.
