Education stakeholders have called for stronger collaboration between institutions of higher learning and industry players to ensure graduates acquire practical skills relevant to the current job market.
Speaking during a Career Fair Week at Zetech University’s Ruiru Campus, the institution’s Dean of the School of Education, Prof. Owen Ngumi, said the move will help in enhancing innovation and create pathways for the youth to access decent work and entrepreneurship opportunities both locally and at the global stage. During forum the university students challenged the government to partner with the private sector to expand the employment opportunities in the country.
