Elders from Nyangi Ndiriri Cultural Group in Embu West, Embu County who are among communities claiming ownership of the disputed 44,000 Mwea settlement Scheme have expressed the desire to have the matter sorted out through mediation.The cultural group chairperson Andrew Ireri said the land tussle has had endless litigations from communities claiming ownership adding that they have sought the court's intervention to consolidate the cases to build consensus and have the decades-long tussle sorted out once and for all.
