Former Botswana President criticizes Tanzanian Pres. Suluhu

The former Botswana president, Ian Khama, has condemned the swearing-in of Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan, saying he does not recognize her election, claiming she forced her way into power by oppressing Tanzanians in an election that witnessed the deaths of hundreds of citizens. Khama was speaking at Lukenya University in Makueni. Meanwhile, the case against opposition leader Tundu Lissu did not proceed today in court in Tanzania.
