Four journalists and a medical officer were on Wednesday assaulted by the management of a private hospital, which was closed by Homa Bay county government for failing to meet the requirements of running a health facility. The journalists George Odiwuor of Nation Media Group, Basil Okoth of KBC TV, Zedekiah Anding'e of Mayienga Radio and Lencer Akoth of Lakeside Radio had gone to the hospital to cover a story on its closure.
