Over 35,000 people from Kirinyaga County are set to benefit from a community empowerment program courtesy of the devolved unit. The initiative that includes the provision of 6,500 water pipes and 1,100 fittings for water distribution to homesteads, 6,270 chairs and 63 tents is meant to alleviate the economic situation of residents across the wards in the county.
