The Hindu community in Kenya joined millions around the world in ushering in the New Year, Vikram Samvat 2082, with prayers for peace, unity and prosperity. The celebrations, held at the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Nairobi, brought together devotees in a colorful display of faith, gratitude and renewal. Religious leaders used the occasion to call on Kenyans to embrace forgiveness, unity and new beginnings.
