The Kilifi County Steering committee comprising of national government and non-governmental organizations has warned of an impending hunger crisis in Kilifi County following three consecutive failed rainy seasons. Speaking during the committee meeting in Kilifi, the County Commissioner Josphat Biwott warned that water and food shortages are worsening in Ganze, Kaloleni, and Magarini sub-counties. He called for urgent intervention, emphasizing the need for food aid and financial support from well-wishers and governments.
