IMLU report shows rising deaths of Kenyans in police custody

Civil society group, the independent medico-legal unit (IMLU) has released a new report showing a worrying trend in the number of Kenyans who have died while in police custody. The report shows 17 deaths in detention and 56 other deaths linked to excessive police force within one year. The organization is calling on the government to act, as many families are still seeking justice. This comes as the senate debates a motion to install CCTVS in police stations to prevent such cases
