JSC protests withdrawal of Justice Lawrence Mugambi's security terming it intimidation

The judicial service commission has protested what it terms as intimidation of judicial officers after security attached to high court judge Lawrence Mugambi were withdrawn

the police driver and bodyguard were disarmed and recalled on Sunday, two days after the judge sentenced acting inspector general of police to six months in prison for contempt of court.

Chief Justice Martha Koome is now demanding that Justice Mugambi's security be reinstated and aggrieved parties move to the court of appeal to challenge his ruling
