    Kenya has made significant steps in the diagnosis and management of cancer in the recent years. Kenya Association of Hematology and Oncologists led by the national cancer institute Chief Executive Officer Dr. Elias Melly say the capacity to diagnose cancer has improved significantly even at the grass root level with cancer centers now available in various regions across the country.The association plans to hold a cancer awareness and outreach screening event on 19th of November 2024 which will provide free cancer screenings and health education to residents of Kisumu.
