The Kenya National Police Sacco is targeting to expand its bursary programme for bright and needy students across the country under their Corporate social responsibility CSR. Speaking on Friday in Nairobi during the conclusion of a mentorship workshop for over 250 students currently under the secondary school scholarship programme, Police Sacco DT Chairman David Mategwa said they are working on a new formula for selecting beneficiaries under the CBC Curriculum. Mategwa added that they are seeking for more funds from the Sacco to expand the programme countrywide. The CSR Programme was launched 10 years ago and is geared towards facilitating high school education for bright students who are unable to pay for their school fees.
