Workers in the informal economies in Kenya will benefit from a social protection initiative funded by the International Labour Organization and the government of China. The two year project with an allocation of 1 million dollars approximately 130 million shillings is expected to leverage digital transformation through south to south cooperation and ensure more persons in the informal economies are on boarded in social protection.
