Kenya National Private Security Workers Union has signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement with G4S in a bold move aimed at ensuring that security officers receive the minimum wage as envisaged in the law.Speaking in Nairobi during the signing of the contract ,KNPSWU Secretary General Isaac Andabwa said the agreement marks a major milestone in safeguarding workers’ rights and addressing their plight ,saying the initiative will be extended to all licensed security firms across the country. He at the same time urged compliance and licensed firms to adhere to minimum wage regulations, emphasizing that fair remuneration is crucial in enhancing professionalism in the private security industry.
