    The Ministry of Health is set to review laws on chemicals that harm the environment including lead amid grim statistics that show 600,000 children in the country suffer intellectual disability owing to lead poisoning. This was revealed as Kenya joined the world in marking the 12th international lead poisoning prevention week of action. Global Statistics by USAID show one in every two children are exposed to lead poisoning and a million deaths are recorded annually.
