Maa community commercializing their products for economic gain

The Maa cultural tourism festival was birthed in 2023 to celebrate the culture of the Maa community as well as change the economic prospects of the region by patenting and commercializing their products. Three years on it continues to grow attracting thousands to the annual fete. Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano hailing the community for starting the initiative, pledged to market the festival on an international platform.
