Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti now says her government is contemplating additional budgetary allocation to the ongoing Machakos Youth Empowerment plan to double the number of youth in the county being recruited into the national youth service from the current 1000. According to the governor, young people trained under the program dubbed Machakos Youth Service, will be enrolled to study various vocational courses before joining community service. At the same time, she warned against inciting young people to violence for political expediency
