The County Government of Mandera has commissioned a fully equipped theatre at the Lafey Sub-County Referral Hospital in Lafey town. The new facility is expected to benefit more than 3,000 residents, providing life-saving surgical services. The hospital also got a facelift.Speaking at the launch, Mandera Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif said the theatre will allow residents to access critical healthcare services without the need to travel long distances, especially given the region’s security challenges.
