A group of elders from Mandera and neighboring Somalia have urged Northern Kenya residents to embrace peace and coexistence among the various clans within the region. Speaking during a peace meeting the leaders urged locals to always work closely with law enforcement agencies to help root criminals in their midst. The peace meeting was held after eight people were killed in Banisa area along the Kenya-Ethiopia a week ago.
