A section of widows from Mfangano island in Homabay county are set to benefit from a 150,000 shillings donation, raised from the Victoria Run Marathon. Speaking after the marathon, Suba West Deputy County Commissioner Samson Diera noted that the move was aimed at assisting widows who more often lack support after the demise of their spouse.
