Meet musical twins, Lameck and Teddy Otieno. Lameck is a violist and violinist, and Teddy is a pianist. They grew up in one of Nairobi’s poorest neighbourhoods, Korogocho, but got access to various musical instruments through a local community centre, Ghetto Classics. They both spent countless hours learning music and their dedication led them to receiving music scholarships abroad. Lameck is currently in the US, and Teddy is in the UK. They are now on a mission to get more children from Korogocho to play music and come back to teach at Ghetto Classics when they are in Nairobi.
