A member of the Nairobi County Assembly for Harambee Ward and two other co-accused persons have been charged for defrauding 9.4 Million Shillings from a family who wanted to purchase a property in Umoja Estate Nairobi county in the year 2020. Appearing before trial Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi, the MCA Antony Kimemia Gathumbi, Jane Nyambura Karia and Daniel Munyao Mbithi denied the charges levelled against them and were released each on stringent bond terms. The pretrial is set for 26th February.
