With the Senate hearing of the impeachment motion for the removal of the Deputy President two days away, the National Assembly has in line with the standing orders, nominated members who will together with the mover of the motion, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, make representations on their behalf. Senate Standing orders section 73 sub-section 5 provides that: "The Special Committee may hear representation from the member who moved the motion in the National Assembly and other members of the National Assembly."
