Nyamira, Bungoma residents protest deteriorating roads

Residents in Nyamira and Bungoma counties took to the streets to protest the deplorable state of local roads. The demonstrators say the roads have remained in that state for years, despite a pledge by President William Ruto, made during his tenure as deputy president, to ensure the key routes are upgraded to tarmac.
