People living with HIV/ AIDS have held street protests, demanding the inclusion of HIV/AIDS services in the Social Health Authority benefit package. The group marched to the National AIDS and STI Control Program offices before and the Ministry of Health buildings, saying they can no longer afford life-saving drugs following the withdrawal of donor funding. They further decried the growing stigma surrounding HIV.
