Preparations for the hotly contested Kitengela boda boda riders elections. The elections slated for the 12th of this month have attracted 9 contestants for the chairman position, as anxiety rocks the preparations owing to the chaotic scenes witnessed during such elections.According to the committee overseeing the slated election, more measures have been put in place to facilitate an orderly, free and fair election. Only registered members will be allowed to vote, with an identity card presentation compulsory, contrary to the past elections, where every rider voted with a helmet and reflector as the only proof of being a rider.
