President William Ruto will next week visit China as he seeks to strengthen bilateral ties and strategic partnership with the Asian country. In an interview with Chinese news outlets, President Ruto said he is looking forward to building on the people-to-people relationship between China and Kenya that has existed for more than 600 years to inject new momentum into the development of bilateral relations. The five-day state visit will also focus on concluding the ongoing projects undertaken through China-Kenya partnership and new ones that can enhance trade between the two nations.
