Orange Democratic movement leader Raila Odinga has revealed that President William Ruto approached him for a partnership that culminated in signing an MOU last week. Addressing mourners who attended the memorial service of former city clerk Kimani Waiyaki in Kiambu, Odinga defended his willingness to agree with Ruto’s administration, saying it was in the country's best interests. The ODM leader, however, says that SHA is not working and that Kenyans are overtaxed, but will have an opportunity to make their choices in 2027. The further notes that there are pressing issues to be addressed before the next general election.
