Kenya's candidate in the February 2025 African Union Commission chairperson election, Raila Odinga, is expected to launch his bid to the continent officially this evening from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Raila arrived in Addis Ababa, which is the headquarters of the African Union Commission, on Thursday morning and attended the World Without Hunger conference, alongside President William Ruto.
