Section of DAP-K party leaders supports UDA'S candidate

A section of DAP-K members, led by Deputy party leader and Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula, have thrown their weight behind UDA'S David Ndakwa in the Malava by-election, abandoning their own candidate, Seth Panyakoo, saying campaigning for DAP-K candidate would push the area into opposition and deny it development. They insist their move is driven by the need to align with the government for the sake of local growth and opportunities.
