Serikali ya Kenya yatakiwa kutangaza mauaji ya wanawake janga la kitaifa
Kenya imeripoti ongezeko la mauaji ya wanawake katika hali ya kutatanisha tangu mwaka 2017. Takwimu za shirika la Africa Data Hub zinaonyesha zaidi ya wanawake 500 wameuawa kati ya mwaka 2016 na 2023.
Mauaji yenye utatanishi ya wanawake yameibua lawama kote nchini na sasa mashirika ya kutetea haki za wanawake yanaitaka serikali ya Kenya kutangaza mauaji hayo janga la kitaifa. Mwandishi wa VOA Amina Chombo anaripoti kutoka Mombasa.
