Learning continued to be paralysed in public universities as lecturers continued to keep off the lecture halls for the second week, with students left to bear the brunt of the industrial action. This comes as another attempt by the national assembly education committee to end the strike flopped after the representatives of the inter-public universities councils consultative forum IPUCCF failed to present crucial documents showing the governments sh4.3 billion offer to lecturers.
