Teachers to be moved from Minet cover to SHA

The Teachers Service Commission and Unions have announced that teachers will now be covered under the Social Health Authority. The teachers employer made the announcement after a meeting with the Unions and SHA where they were taken through the benefits package that will come with the SHA coverage. Among the issues that the teachers wanted addressed before making the switch, included the inclusion of group cover, elimination of pre authorization hurdles as well as the full disclosure of hospitals and benefits.
