U.S government raises concern over abductions in Kenya

The United States has joined foreign countries in pushing for accountability from the Kenyan security agencies over the June to August protests disappearances and abductions. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in a phone conversation with president William Ruto also advocated for continued dialogue with civic, non state actors and the youth. The sentiments from the USA come as the police revealed that 59 cases of disappearances had been reported in the country since June this year.
