US senators call for review of America-Tanzania relations over election concerns

Two ranking American senators have called out the Tanzanian government over its heavy-handed response to post-election protests, which led to an unprecedented level of violence. The senators who belong to the influential foreign relations committee say President Samia Suluhu Hassan has lost an opportunity to reform Tanzania, calling the elections less than credible.
