Here is a powerful first-person account of a group of school children in the Tigray region of Ethiopia, who described how they are grappling with the severe food shortage in an area still recovering from a prolonged civil war. Children and young people have been particularly affected and hundreds of them have been forced to drop out of school and forage for food to feed their families.
