Residents of Boramoyo, in Kipini area of Tana River County, are now living in fear of a potential eviction after individuals claiming ownership of the land they have settled on, threatened to throw them out. The locals who claim to have heavily invested in the 1000–acre piece of land for the last 30 years, are accusing the area’s administration of collaborating with the said landowners, citing continued threats and intimidation from the local chief.
