Kenyans condemn Mutahi Kahiga’s remarks on Raila Odinga’s death

Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has been summoned to appear before the National Cohesion and Integration Commissioner over his remarks allegedly mocking the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The remarks have attracted numerous condemnations from leaders nationwide. Kahiga has also been ousted as Vice Chair of the Council of Governors hours after he resigned from the position and apologized for his controversial remarks.
