As the world will be celebrating the world aids day on the 1st of December 2024, National Syndemic Diseases Control Council, in partnership with athletics Kenya, have organised a half marathon race that will be staged at the Nyayo Stadium. The race seeks to raise awareness on the need for men and boys to pay attention to their health and wellbeing, particularly with regards to HIV/AIDS, with a promise made to make the half marathon an international class race in the near future.
