The Senate now wants the Parliamentary Service Commission to address challenges facing the Senate among them budget cuts and underfunding. During the ongoing senate midterm retreat in Naivasha ahead of the resumption of senate business for the fourth session next week, senators pointed out that underfunding was affecting the house oversight role. During the session members also urged the speaker to exercise impartiality while presiding over the business of the house even as the minority put the majority wing on the spot over abductions in the country.
