The Ministry of Health is tonight seeking the help of parliament to plug the ksh 59 billion funding shortall that has been made worse by the us aid funding freeze. The ministry says it had requested 426.8b in the 2025/2026 financial year budget estimates but only got 172.6b in the just released budget policy statement.
