Nairobi has backed the push by the rapid support forces to form a parallel government, saying that the tabling of a roadmap and proposed leadership in Sudan by the RSF in Kenya's capital is compatible with Kenya's role in peace negotiations to provide non-partisan platforms to conflicting parties to seek resolutions. A statement by the Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi also stipulates that the RSF is leveraging good offices in Nairobi.
