The Lions Club of Nairobi Huru has expressed its commitment to empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring their inclusion in society. The organization further said it will offer vital support through information Technology by providing smart orbit Braille readers and laptops with specialized software. According to the Lions Club, the devices will enable visually impaired individuals to enhance their skills thus empowering them to be self–employed or improve their employability. The group was speaking in Nairobi County during the Lions Club of Nairobi Huru’s 10-year celebration.
