More than 500 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Nakuru have once again called on the government to urgently resolve the persistent land conflicts that have left many homeless since the 2007 post-election violence. Speaking in Nakuru, the group, composed primarily of people displaced during the 2007 clashes, acknowledged the efforts made by previous administrations under Presidents Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta. However, they highlighted that despite progress, many individuals and families have been left out of the resettlement process.
