Former Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has dismissed remarks made by former Deputy President and Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua, claiming Kenyans still do not fully understand who Gachagua truly is. Through a Facebook post on Friday, November 7, 2025, Wambugu ridiculed Gachagua’s promise to nominate young people who defend him and his party online, saying such statements should not be taken seriously.
