The Ministry of Water has embarked on reviving the long-stalled water projects in Kitui County. According to Tanathi Water Works Development Agency Board Chair, Regina Ndambuki,the government has deployed contractors to various water projects including the Migwani Borehole, which has remained unattended for more than 15 years.
