Police recruitment standoff as NPSC, IG clash over mandate

The recruitment of 10,000 police constables remains in limbo as the stalemate between the national police service commission and the national police service persists. The process, which was earlier planned to begin this week, may not happen as the two institutions continue to haggle over who between the two is mandated by law to conduct the recruitment.
