Ruto support divides ODM

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has once again broken ranks with other top party officials, insisting that the orange party will field a candidate to face president William Ruto in the 2027 election. Sifuna made the remarks in Miritini, Jomvu constituency, during the issuance of 500 title deeds. However, other ODM leaders led by mining Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho and party Chairperson Gladys Wanga declared their support for President Ruto’s re-election bid under the broadbased arrangement. The leaders say ODM is focused on capturing the presidency come 2032.
