Kenya's Union of Clinical Officers KUCO has threatened to withdraw their services come the 23rd of this month following the rollout of social health insurance which they claim is discriminatory. protesting outside the ministry of health building, they say clinical officers have been blocked from offering services under the new health insurance model. They have further accused them of being corrupt, calling for the disbandment of the sha board. Meanwhile, interns under the Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists Dentist Union who were also protesting, have called out the ministry of health for not disbursing the amount promised to resolve their 4-month pay delay.
